Kashi Ayodhya Prayag Tour
The Kashi Ayodhya Prayag Tour is a 7-day pilgrimage through the most sacred cities of the Ganges heartland. Centred on Varanasi (Kashi) with its ghats and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, it takes in the Ram Janmabhoomi at Ayodhya, the holy river confluence of Prayagraj (Allahabad) and the forest shrines of Chitrakoot, with an optional side trip to the Buddhist site of Bodhgaya. It is a compact, deeply spiritual circuit that we run privately, with darshan, aartis and holy bathing at each stop.
Tour overview
For Hindu pilgrims this is one of the most meaningful journeys in India. Kashi, Ayodhya and Prayag are three of the country's holiest cities: Varanasi is Lord Shiva's own city on the Ganges, Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Ram, and Prayagraj holds the Triveni Sangam, the sacred meeting of the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati. Chitrakoot, associated with Ram's forest exile, completes the circuit with its quiet temples and river ghats.
The tour typically begins with your arrival into Varanasi from Delhi by a short flight or train, and is built around Varanasi as the base. We start with the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat and a dawn boat ride past the ghats, then travel out to Ayodhya, Prayagraj and Chitrakoot, returning for your departure from Varanasi. An optional day trip to Gaya and Bodhgaya can be added for those who also wish to visit the seat of the Buddha's enlightenment; adding it extends the tour by one day.
As with every Era journey this itinerary is fully private and tailor-made. We arrange neat, clean hotels at each stop, a car sized to your group, and knowledgeable drivers and local assistance so you can focus entirely on darshan and prayer. The pace, temples and any additional rituals can all be adjusted to your wishes.
Ganga Aarti and a dawn boat ride
Witness the fire-and-lamp Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat by evening and glide past the ghats at sunrise the next morning — the twin rituals at the soul of Kashi.
Darshan at Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya
Visit Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Hanuman Garhi and Kanak Bhawan in the city celebrated as the birthplace of Lord Ram.
Holy bath at Triveni Sangam
Take a boat to the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati at Prayagraj for a sacred dip and puja at one of Hinduism's most revered spots.
Optional Bodhgaya pilgrimage
Add a day trip to Gaya for Pind Daan at the Vishnupad Temple and to Bodhgaya for the Mahabodhi Temple and Bodhi tree.

Yes, the tour includes a visit to the Triveni Sangam at Prayagraj where you can take a holy dip and perform puja. This is the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati, and a boat can take you out to the meeting point of the rivers for your bath and ablutions.
Most travellers reach Varanasi from Delhi by a short flight or by train, and the tour begins on arrival at Varanasi airport or railway station. We meet you there and handle all onward transfers; we are happy to help arrange your Delhi–Varanasi flight or train as part of the enquiry.
October to March is the best time, when the weather across the Ganges plain is cool and pleasant for temple visits and boat rides. Summer from April to June is very hot, and the monsoon from July to September can raise river levels, so the winter months are the most comfortable for this yatra.
