Goa Tours
Goa is India's smallest state and its most relaxed — a sun-soaked ribbon of the Arabian Sea coast where golden beaches, swaying palms, whitewashed churches and a distinct Portuguese-influenced culture come together. Our Goa tours are entirely tailor-made around you: a few unhurried days on the beaches of your choice, a half-day of old-Goa heritage, a sunset cruise on the Mandovi if you wish, and time simply to relax. Tell us your dates and style and we will design the trip.
Goa is unlike anywhere else in India. For more than four centuries it was a Portuguese colony, and that history is written into its churches, its cuisine, its architecture and its easy-going pace. The state divides loosely into two moods. The north — around beaches such as Calangute, Baga and Anjuna — is livelier, with beach shacks, markets and Goa's famous nightlife. The south is quieter and more resort-like, with long, calm stretches of sand ideal for unwinding. Either way, the beach is the heart of a Goa holiday, and most itineraries are built around relaxed coastal days with sightseeing added to taste.
Away from the sand, Old Goa holds one of the most striking colonial ensembles in Asia. The Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage church, holds the revered remains of St Francis Xavier, and the grand cathedrals nearby recall a time when this was one of the richest ports in the East. A half-day heritage tour takes in this Portuguese-Goan architecture, and an evening cruise on the Mandovi river is a pleasant way to watch the sun go down. Beyond that, Goa is about doing very little beautifully — seafood by the water, a spice-plantation visit inland, a market wander, and long hours on the beach.
Goa is at its best in the dry, sunny season from roughly November to March, when the weather is warm and comfortable and the coast is at its liveliest; the monsoon, from June to September, turns the interior lush and green but is quieter on the beaches. We do not run Goa on a fixed itinerary — it is an enquiry-led, fully tailor-made destination, and this is exactly the kind of relaxed trip we love to shape. Because we are a private tour operator, we arrange your transfers, your choice of beach and hotel, and any sightseeing, cruises or day trips you want to add, then leave the rest of the time genuinely free. Send us your dates, the number of travellers and the sort of stay you have in mind, and we will come back with a plan made for you.
